Cinema & TV Productions

The Cinema & Television Productions Class offers students an in-depth introduction into the vast industries of film, television and online media.  Working with professional equipment such as Digital Cameras, Editing Software (Adobe Premiere), Animation Software (Flash), Production Lights & Sound, students will produce video content for Peninsula Area Public Access and the greater local community.  They will also build a professional portfolio (production resumes, demo reels, etc.) and receive industry-recognized accreditation for their work.  Now offering 5 Units of Higher Education Articulated Credit with Peninsula College and Cross-Credited with English, Math & Fine Arts, CTVP helps to focus students towards achieving their academic goals.  Furthermore, the course will prepare students for employment in Broadcast Journalism, Film Production, Television Production, Online Media, Animation or numerous other fields within the Entertainment Industry, as well as assist with with attaining future degrees at a College or University. Crediting Options

Earn up to 1.5 Credits per Semester - 1.0 Elective Credit for the class, plus .5 Credit for English OR Math OR Fine Arts (Student's Choice).

Cinema TV & Production
June 26 - July 19. Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the
history of film & media. Hands on training in how to use
production equipment, cameras, editing, and software etc.
Dress Code: Shorts okay, closed toe shoes required. Instructor: McInnis, NOPSC
