Cosmetology

Students study to become licensed Cosmetologists, Barbers, Manicurists, and Estheticians. The Cosmetology program prepares students to successfully meet the state licensure requirements. Cosmetologists learn all facets of hair and scalp care, cut, color, texture services and maintenance, as well as retail sales. Manicurists specialize in artificial nail application, manicuring, pedicuring and nail maintenance. Barbers concentrate on clipper cuts, mustache/beard trims and men’s hair styles. Estheticians specialize in skin care, waxing, facials and makeup applications. All students receive classroom instruction and hands on training on mannequins and client guests. Each student must purchase a kit prior to enrollment. Cost of each kit is $525.00 and includes all tools necessary for training in their desired field of study.
